Item lending, return, renewing loan term
Using the Library Catalog members of the University community can find records about stored documents, request documents, borrow them home and renew the loan term; non-members of the University community have to fill in Item request form and use documents only in the reading rooms.
The order of loan, renewal and return is regulated by the Rules of Vytautas Magnus University Library.
Search and request
Information about books in the library is presented in the Library Catalog and VMU Virtual Library. You can search and request the books in the catalog from any computer in the library or any other computer having internet access at any time.
Renewing loan term
Items loaned for two or three weeks can be renewed if they are not requested by another user and they are not on delay.
Loan term is renewed in the Library Catalog, at the Lending department, by writing e-mail message or calling the department where the document was loaned.
