EBSCO trial access

The trial access to selected EBSCO databases has been activated and resources are now available in test access for academic community of Vytautas Magnus University:

Applied Science & Technology Source offers a diverse array of full-text and indexed content covering the full spectrum of the applied sciences and computing disciplines — from acoustics to aeronautics, neural networks to nuclear engineering. Content includes: +1,000 full text journals, of which 450+ are active, full-text, non-open access journals and magazines, 350+ are active, full-text, peer-reviewed, non-open access journals. CAB Abstracts with Full Text, produced in collaboration with the experts at CABI, provides access to the world’s applied life sciences literature. Coverage includes subjects across the applied life sciences — from agriculture, the environment, and veterinary sciences, to applied economics, leisure/tourism, and nutrition. CAB Abstracts with Full Text covers key applied life sciences subjects including agriculture, environment, food science, human health, mycology, nutrition, plant sciences and veterinary sciences. Content includes 1,200+ active full-text journals.

  • Central and Eastern European Academic Source

Central & Eastern European Academic Source is a research database of full-text scholarly journals published in Central and Eastern European countries. Recently updated, this multidisciplinary and multilingual database covers many subjects including business, economics, history, STEM and law. Content includes over 2,100 full-text titles (with more than 1,450 newly added full-text publications), including over 100 Lithuanian journals. Multilingual content represents 60 languages. Subjects include business, economics, education, humanities, history, international relations, law, literature, medicine, politics, social sciences, STEM.

EconLit with Full Text is a full-text database for economic research. It offers hundreds of full-text journals, including the American Economic Association journals with no embargo. It also contains all of the indexing in EconLit, which adheres to the high-quality JEL classification system for economics literature. Content includes: More than 370 active full-text, non-open access journals; 15 full-text books, including The Handbook of World Trade; All of the indexing available in EconLit. OnArchitecture is a unique online library of original architecture-related videos intended to support architectural and design education. The collection features video interviews with influential contemporary architects from around the world, who talk about their work, design processes, and the role of architects and architecture in contemporary society. These interviews are supplemented by video portraits of their key projects, both buildings and installations, which attempt to capture the physical experience of the spaces they portray. OnArchitecture provides focused and detailed high-quality content on contemporary architecture with a global perspective. Video content in OnArchitecture is enriched with relevant information about the buildings and installations that are showcased, such as technical specifications, project briefs and corporate profiles. It also includes up-to-date biographies of the architects and designers whose works are featured. Please note that OnArchitecture databases has its own unique interface and is not available on database list.

Trialed databases are available for end users on EBSCOhost platform at https://search.ebscohost.com/ and can be accessed in the same access model as other EBSCO databases.

Trial will be active until 15th of November 2022.
