Publish for free in Oxford University Press open access journals!

The Lithuanian Research Library Association (LMBA), of which Vytautas Magnus University is a member, has made an agreement with Oxford University Press (OUP), providing VMU researchers with the opportunity to publish scientific articles in OUP open access journals free of charge. Under this agreement, VMU authors do not have to pay Article Processing Charges (APC)*.

 *An Article Processing Charge (APC) is the fee that publishing houses charge for editing, peer reviewing and making an article available on the Internet for open access to all readers.

• The agreement is valid if the VMU author is indicated as the coordinating author (corresponding author).
• According to the agreement between the Lithuanian Research Library Association (LMBA) and the publisher, in 2025 and 2026, 14 articles by Lithuanian authors can be published free of charge in open full (Gold) and mixed (Hybrid) access journals. When submitting the article, authors must indicate their exact institutional affiliation.
• The discount is applied to accepted publications in order of priority among the universities that have signed the agreement. More about the submission procedure.
