Exhibition “Where life begins”
Laima Sakalauskienė’s photography exhibition “Where Life Begins” is exhibited at Agriculture Academy library (Studentų St. 11-235, Academy, Kaunas district).
The author of the exhibition Laima Sakalauskienė is a photo artist, educator, wife, mother of two children, and creator of education. In this exhibition, the author invites the viewer to stop at the little hands and feet – the first connection between a baby and the world. Black and white photography allows focus on the details that convey tenderness, care and love through touch.
The exhibition was inspired by a civil initiative – the march “For Life”. It is a sign of solidarity: for women who choose to give birth even in the most difficult circumstances, for men who take responsibility not only for the child but also for the mother, for the family – for the unity of man, woman and children, and for those who never saw the light of this world.

On January 22 (Thursday) at 11 a.m. we invite you to the presentation of the photography exhibition “Where life begins”.
The purpose of the education is to discuss the miracle of the beginning of life in the world of plants, animals and humans. During the conversation, we will create a distinctive plant composition and make a unique postcard using one of the oldest photographic image techniques in the world – cyanotype.
Additional information: The event will be photographed and / or filmed. Photos and videos can be used to promote the event and the space on social networks.
