Services for users with disabilities
Library is committed to providing equal access to their services and facilities for all users. Great attention is paid to the needs of visitors with disabilities. The library staff help you find and borrow the necessary items, give advice on various electronic information resources and their processing, help in using special equipment, copying, printing, scanning, etc.
The library has 10 working places for disabled people in all departments. V. Biržiška and L. Donskis libraries have individual workspaces. Participation in the project “Ensuring accessibility for students with special needs” by the State Studies Foundation, enabled to equip all workplaces with special furniture, computers, software and other equipment.
