EBSCO trial access
The trial access to selected EBSCO databases has been activated and resources are now available in test access for academic community of Vytautas Magnus University:
- Applied Science & Technology Source Ultimate
Applied Science & Technology Source Ultimate offers a diverse array of full-text and indexed content covering the full spectrum of the applied sciences and computing disciplines — from acoustics to aeronautics, neural networks to nuclear engineering. Content includes: +2,000 full text journals, of which 780+ are active, full-text, non-open access journals and magazines, 600+ active, full-text, peer-reviewed, non-open access journals. Subjects include: Aerospace, Agricultural engineering, Chemical engineering, Computer science, Genetics, Hydroponics, Mechanical engineering, Pharmacology, Robotics, Software development.
- Humanities Source Ultimate
Humanities Source Ultimate is an valuable source of information for students, scientists, researchers and academics interested in all aspects of the humanities, literature, development of scientific and creative thought. The database indexes over 3,700 journals and contains the full text of nearly 2,000 journals, of which over 1,600 are regularly published journals. The database provides full texts and bibliographic data of articles, interviews, bibliographies, literary texts (poetry, prose and drama), reviews of books, ballet performances, dance programs, films, opera performances, musicals, theater performances, radio and television programs and a lot more. The topics of the database include: archaeology, regional studies, art, classical studies, social communication, dance, film, folklore, cultural and social gender studies, history, journalism, linguistics, literary and social criticism, literature, music, performing arts, performance and concerts, philosophy, religion and theology and much more.
- Sociology Source Ultimate
Sociology Source Ultimate is the most comprehensive database in the field of sociology. The database indexes journals, books, monographs, conference proceedings and other sources, and contains searchable scientific citations. The Sociology Source Ultimate collection includes the full text of over 1,050 currently published journals, of which nearly 1,000 full-text journals are peer-reviewed and over 600 full-text journals are indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases. Nearly 650 full-text journals are available without an embargo period. The content of the database covers various disciplines of sociology and related fields, i.e.: demography, ethnic and racial studies, gender identity studies, social work, socio-cultural anthropology, marriage and family, political sociology, religion, social development, social psychology and much more.
Trialed databases are available for end users on EBSCOhost platform at https://search.ebscohost.com/ and can be accessed in the same access model as other EBSCO databases.
Trial will be active until 31th of December 2023.
