“Cherry Blossoms Association‘s” book donation ceremony was held at VMU Vaclovas Biržiška library

“Cherry Blossoms Association‘s” (Japan) book donation ceremony was held on the 8th of September, 2018 at VMU Vaclovas Biržiška library. This year the NGO “Cherry Blossoms Association” (Japan) is not only enriching Kaunas with young sakura trees that will become a part of Kaunas – Japan friendship park. To contribute to the education and future of the Lithuanian youth the association will kindly donate books about Japan in English to VMU library Asian Book space. These books will find their new home at VMU library and will fill up the space dedicated to Asian literature – one of the biggest collections for Asian societies and culture among Baltic States.
