About Interlibrary Loan (ILL):
University students and teachers can request items (that are not held in the University Library) or article copies through the interlibrary loans service from other Lithuanian and foreign libraries, using the service of interlibrary loan.
Documents from Kaunas libraries are not requested. Exceptions may apply to teachers and community members with disabilities.
University library items can be lent to other Lithuanian and foreign libraries, except rare, old books, single copies, sound, image, electronic documents, information and cartographic items, art albums.
Interlibrary loan service is available in all library departments, writing e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org, or filling in Request form. ILL service is paid. Rates include postage charges and/or charges set by the lending library.
Items borrowed via Interlibrary Loan Service are read only in Library departments. The loan term is determined by the lending library. Damage or loss of lent item should be covered by a reader at the price set by the library-sender.
